Our Shopify apps: 2020 update

After a year developing Shopify apps, it is time to take stock of the apps released and those to come soon.

After a year developing Shopify apps, it is time to take stock of the apps released and those to come soon.

We currently have 7 apps on the Shopify App Store. Our apps have been installed almost 900 times. We will probably reach 2,000 installations by the end of the year.

All of this did not happen overnight.

First apps

The Shopify ecosystem for French merchants was quite poor a year ago. There were no French logistics solutions (Colissimo, Chronopost, DPD, …) except for one app Mondial Relay; and no French marketplace.

It was for us the opportunity to bring our mastery and our knowledge on this innovative and promising e-commerce platform.

First we published the main French logistics apps:

The experience acquired with those three apps allowed us then to launch the Cdiscount Feed app in partnership with Cdiscount!

Even more apps!

Then came the turn of our flagship app: Amazon Integration Plus. The Shopify version of our Amazon solution being much more efficient and offering more options and configurations than its PrestaShop version.

The app Sheets – Sync with G Sheets was also released during the same period as the Amazon app, it allows you to synchronize your Shopify store via Google Spreadsheet. It is currently our most installed app with more than a third of the total installations of our apps (the rest being occupied mainly by Amazon, Colissimo and Chronopost).

Recently, we have also published logistics apps to further broaden the offer for French merchants, namely the so-called “last mile” apps Stuart and Couriier.

We have looked at the current situation, but what else now? Lots of things actually!

We currently have several eagerly awaited apps being validated by Shopify or being finished by our developers, here is a non-exhaustive list:

  • Mirakl
  • Rakuten
  • Rakuten Click & Collect
  • Fnac
  • Spartoo

So you can expect to have a full suite of apps for the French market by the end of the summer!

Conclusion

After this year of development, we were able to offer French Shopify merchants a variety of apps to boost their stores.

We are well aware that the work is not finished and that there is still a long way to go. It is this challenge and the desire to satisfy you that stimulate us!

The entire Common-Services team and I hope that our apps help you on a daily basis, and wish you good sales on Shopify.
